Week 39

38 weeks

38 weeks this week! Feeling very large, but very happy. I did a load of Alistair's clothes so they are nice and clean. I've been practicing my swaddling wrapping skills with my neighbors doll. I packed the hospital bag and it's under the bed ready to go. On Monday I'll go to Kona to teach and do some last little shopping. I want a Boppy Lounger. Those look very handy and comfortable!
Alistair is stubborn like his mama, this boy is NOT turning around. I can feel his round head now off to my right side. I tried yoga poses, ice, and other techniques from spinning babies, but nothing could change his mind. So the hospital has scheduled a C section March 26. We go in at 5:30am to check in and then the section starts at 7:30am. It feels funny knowing EXACTLY when he is going to be born. I have a feeling had he come on his own he would be born the first week of April sometime. I'm of course very nervous, but I know it will all be ok. Another woman from my baby class was breech too and needed a C section. Must be the high altitude up here in Waimea or something!

I can't believe how fast time is flying by. Baby boy is still in the breech position. I feel like I'm carrying super high! He is constantly moving around. Sometimes my belly will get all pointed and lopsided depending on where he is swimming around. I call it belly surfing!

3 months late posting November Baby Shower

My friends are throwing me a baby shower here in Hawaii tomorrow, so I thought I should post pictures from the November Seattle baby shower before tomorrow! My belly is MUCH bigger now than it was in November!

34 weeks in two days

The random dog foot picture? I'm testing out the macro lens on my new camera. Practice for when I want to take up close pictures of Alistair's tiny baby feet!

Week 33

 Baby boy Italian bumps. My students mother is having her baby boy Jake this week Wednesday, so I wanted to get a picture of our bumps and then in a month, a picture with our baby boys!

The dogs have been sniffing the car seat. It's starting to get real folks!
